Inside Look at Our Art & Wellness Event at Lyons Wier Gallery on 1/29/15

June 5, 2017

Thank you to all who made it to our art and wellness event Thursday night at Lyons Wier Gallery. Michael Lyons Wier discussed Michelle Doll’s phenomenal exhibit and the idea of “conceptual realism.” We were treated to cosmetic acupuncture, massage, stress relieving acupuncture and tips on wellness and the importance of eating a low glycemic, anti-inflammatory diet and how you can still eat more and control your weight and inflammation and health. A big thank you to Deanne Shashoua and Michael Lyons Wier from Lyons Wier Gallery for hosting and our fabulous practitioners Miriam Pineles (acupuncturist, herbalist and birth doula) at Conscious Health and Wellness and Marcy Gordon, certified cosmetic acupuncturist who practices the non-surgical Acufacial Resculpting at famed Shellie Goldstein and Associates. Here’s more photos from our event.

Lyons Wier Gallery is the premier Representational gallery in New York City. They champion contemporary representational artists who bring an independent spirit to their genre creating a dialogue steeped in Conceptualism but communicated via Realism. Defined by the gallery as “Conceptual Realism,” this movement far exceeds the traditional pictorial aspects of representational painting. Their artists’ masterful deftness of hand is buttressed by their integral use of color, content and iconography bringing about a broader conceptual aspect to their naturalistic compositions.
