I Don’t Want To Diet, Do You?

After flipping through the latest best selling diet books last night at Barnes & Noble, I have to say I don’t know how most people follow these! I’d be starving! That’s why for my 7 Day Sugar & Carb Detox, I give people 5-6 meals per day of antibiotic free protein, low glycemic veggies and fruit and healthy fats so that they’re never hungry, stop their sugar and carb cravings and reset their metabolism. After the Detox, I then add in low glycemic, gluten-free foods slowly and see how people react. Everyone is different and I target my programs to each person’s needs and body’s response.

I will tell you, that if you starve yourself, you’ll only stress out your adrenal glands and disrupt your thyroid. Not to mention your insulin levels will plummet and you’ll be ravenous and dead set on eating half a pizza or a huge slice of chocolate cake the first chance you get!

My plan is a lifestyle not a quick fix! I teach people how to eat healthy for life (that’s why my grocery store tours are so popular) and in doing so they lower their inflammation, reduce their insulin, lose weight, have more energy and alleviate their autoimmune disorder symptoms, especially in the case of Hashimotos Thyroiditis.
